| I have a 12" Phantom and a 14" Danczyk and they are very heavy (probably close to 2 lbs each). You will need a pretty stiff rod to throw them and you must work them slow. New 10" Hellhounds with softtail might be a good choice for you and they won't break the bank. |

| I don't think I can even imagine a 12" Phantom. The 10" version was huge, the 12" must be ridiculous. |

Location: mpls | Phantom has already made some limited production 12"ers with a soft tail. They were all wood and were great!
Todd makes a great bait!

| I just checked MTO and they have 12" Phantoms in stock. They weigh 15oz and cost $42. I saw an ad for the 14" Hellhounds in the new Musky Hunter today. I wonder how many more years until the "big" novelty crankbait in my room is in the boat. The body is only 13", maybe it will see the water in the next year or two. |

I've had some of my old wood ones peel. But that was at least 8 years ago. I've had no problems with the plastic ones and I'm always repairing baits (usually from bad casts rather than fish). A very well made bait. |
