Hey Guys
Was wondering about console positioning ???
In the boat adds is a Tuffy 1890 GDC with the seats located in the back of the boat.
And a Tuffy 1890 DS where the seats are located in the middle .
What is the advantage in this ..
Thanks
Wally

You are looking at a Esox Deep V with the removable back deck installed, and an Osprey, which doesn't have the deck. Seat positions are the same, the rear deck is removable.  There is no difference between the Esox Deep V model and the Osprey that comes standard with a removeable back deck.

Wally, if you need more pics of the 1890DS, let me know. BTW, the boat is and has been resting comfortably in a heated garage.

Wally,

When it comes to console positioning, I know that lund and crestliner have each had models where you could have a trolling edition or casting edition. with the trolling edition, the console would be further ahead more toward the middle so there was more space in the rear of the boat to facilitate trolling applications. With the casting editions, the console is placed further toward the rear to make a larger casting platform in the bow. Just personal preference for what kind of fishing you prefer.
