Some of both. They'll have 5 colors in their standard lineup.

How high does it actually sit? I picture it being slightly easier than palming a 7000 Abu. Thoughts?

I could palm the Tranx, it is lower then a Trinidad 16na, and much smaller then a 7000 in height on the rod.

Well I can kind of palm a 7000, so the TranX shouldn't be a problem then. How would it stack up next to a TE in "palmability"?

Bigger then a 400TE and smaller then a Trinadad 16NA. If U can plam a 7000 then the TRANX is a piece of cake. Funny I can't plam a 7000

Muskyflo, I am sure it will be cool to see the pictures, but I have seen pics of Fittante and Lax re-pros before, and I have to tell you that after seeing them in person today that I have never seen a picture that does even remote justice to the thing in person. The detail was simply stunning, and both of those guys had some incredible pieces out there.

Steve, I think I saw you hiding behind a Tuffy trying to eat some lunch. I wanted to say hi, and tell you how much I enjoy your site, but it looked like you were taking a break. That nice little Tuffy tiller (17' I think??) that was about $16k looked like a lot of boat for the money. I assume that is not fully rigged with trolling and electronics? Doesn't really matter as I can't afford a boat payment in this economy anyway!

My only complaint about the show is how crowded it was for a while - hard to move through the crowds. Seminars alone were worth the price of admission though.

tranx is the real deal. this real will change musky fishing and burning 10's. if you can palm a 400te you should have no issues. the thornes boys won the burning contest using one and a curado. the deep phantoms are not out yet. show numbers seem down over years past.

Thanks for the update. I would bet the economy/high gas prices have slowed attendance if that's the case. Did you have a chance to try either of the TranX models?

How will the reel change musky fishing? Is it faster than a Trinidad? Please explain.
