| Jason,
I have a pretty primative spinnerbait system.... but it works for me. In addition to my Lakewood boxes I have been using a softside bag which holds two of the huge plano boxes and two of the narrower planos. The thin boxes I modified so they can hold my spinnerbaits. I simply cut slots in the walls for the spinnerbait shafts to lay through. The body of the spinnerbait lays on one side of the wall and in the other compartment the blade end of the shaft lays nice and flat. One small plano box can hold almost 20 large spinnerbaits with this arrangement.
Its kind of hard to describe..... a picture would make it much easier to understand. Basically, the clear plano box has 4 long compartments (no dividers added). I cut two slots at about 1/3 increments in each of the three inside dividing walls. Just take a spinnerbait and try to put it into a plano box and close the lid.... you will see what I'm talking about. The slots let you close the lid tight and not kink or bend the spinnerbait shafts in the process.
At the very least, this might be a good temporary solution for you while you look for a higher quality box to replace your Lakewood. |

| I picked up a Plano Crappie tackle box that holds 3 large Plano boxes that I carry my topwater baits, bucktails and small minnowbaits in. Works for me.
Yard sales are great!!!

| I use the Lakewood Large Spinner Box. I have two of them. They also work very good for me when I want to carry just a couple of glide or jerk baits, Ernies or Depth Raiders, and a few bucktails. |

| Jason,
This year I started using one of the soft sided cases from Bass Pro that have the zip-lock bags on two rings. Seems to be working great and it fits in the side pocket of my Lakewoods.

| Jason,
Don't buy one. I have an extra, will bring it to you next time I am down there.[] |

| I also use one of the soft sided bags with the ziplock bags. This bad boy works great and will fit in almost any small extra space in your boat. Just remember to dry the hair baits before long term storage. |
