| Has anyone seen a mini buoy (the same as a buoy used to mark a rock) that is small and is used for a spot marker? I have been looking for one all over the place, but I am unable to locate one. The buoy I am talking about is white with orange lettering on it, and a cylinder shape. I have seen a few guys use them, but I can't seem to locate who makes them. Any help would be appreciated! |

| Use an empty Gatorade bottle. Paint it white or use white packing tape for the label. Drill a hole in the top and pull through decoy cord and tie a decoy weight at the end. pull the line through the cap and put however much line you need inside...I've found 30' is more than enough for most situations. To make it stand, tap the bottle against your leg to get all of the line on the cap end or add a little water. Toss it out and the line feeds out of the hole until the weight hits bottom, then it stands up like a slip-bobber. Not good in 5' waves...jusayin' |
