Its that time of the year to clean some reels. I decided to try to take it to the next level and super tune my Calcutta 400 and Trinidad reels. Polishing with a dremel. Will it make a difference throwing a pounder probably not but it might take a little less effort to get there. I know they free spool spin a lot more.

I'm still looking for ultimate guide where and how much lubrication to apply.
Got hot sauce grease and oil but don't want to overdo-it

On the forums at tackle tour dot com the guys over there are all about super tuning they get into the crazy stuff - expensive bearing - hihend lubes - check it out...

They also have a really good post on what oil/grease/lube and why and how much to use...
