Subject: Glass Rods vs. Graphite Rods




Can someone explain the advantages of a glass rod over a graphite rod? What applications would a glass rod be preferred over a graphite rod?

Only trolling (if using boards, otherwise it doesent matter), i can't believe were a glass rod would fit in a casting setup...

Trolling and live bait fishing and any time there will be considerable shock to a rod from a strike or hookset. Like MuskieSwede said, I don't see any application for a glass rod in a casting situation.
