I ran across a reference to a book by a North Wisc. guide named Leon "Buckshot" Anderson. The title is "Sixty Years Between The Oars" or something like that. Has anyone read this book? Does it have much musky fishing instruction, or interesting musky stories in it? Would you read it again? Would you buy it again?

It's a great book as are all of Buckshot's. I have six books written by him and they are the type of books you can't put down. He also writes a weekly column for the Lakeland Times paper and its the first thing I read each week.

I just finished reading this book about a month ago. I thought it was a good book as well. He's not really known for his musky fishing prowess and that is reflected in the book. Given that, I'm not sure that I would pick it up just for the purpose of learning some tips/tricks. Let me be clear, I am not knocking the book - I'm just saying that it's not really meant to be educational.

I liked it, like the others said you won't learn a whole lot about fishing but you'll be entertained.
