Location: Central Wisconsin | These are a little bigger in diameter from what I have done in the past. They vary from 1 3/8" to 1 1/2" around, and make a nice little pop. Thanks Muskyslayer96 for the tips on the eyes. Thanks for looking and let me know what you think

Those are beauties man I love them....I've made a few larger diameter as well and not only do they cast better, they tend to ride in a little chow much better as well. Well done.
What type of wood did you use and what did you use to get the cool scale pattern on the gold/blk, yellow/black (looks like cheese cloth sort of matted up)?????

Paint jobs look fantastic! Just curious, do you find hookup % being less with your fatter topwaters vs smaller diameter topwaters? I have a few customers that think mine are too fat but to compensate they add an extra split ring to let the hooks hang lower from the belly. Just curious. Again, your paint job and lures look great!

Location: Central Wisconsin | Thanks for the comments guys. I don't really know how much they weigh, but they are substantial. I weighted them in the belly running parallel with the bait.
James, on a straight retrieve bait like these, it's a pretty easy target, if they want to eat it they will. I have the double split rings on quite a few other baits and I like what it does for me. I purposely set my back hook a little further back and get 60% of the fish on the back hook/ both hooks. The other 40% I get too excited and rip it away from them before they can eat it |

| Andy, well done! How did you go about keeping the front portion of the bait stationary? So it doesn't slide back into the rear prop?
Also, what wood type did you use and how much weight did you insert. I'm currently building some and used poplar wood and don't know how I should go about inserting weight or not. Thanks

| Oh my, that last topwater… would make a great valentine’s day gift… You should have a lure naming contest for it – Nubbed Nailer or G-Spot Splasher would be my votes |
