The triple 10 to be closely followed by the Quad-12 We will need the new Shimano TE-5500 to reel them in though.

Gotta tell ya, that "coot" thing took the cake for me last year. Now that was an out of the box invention and it catches fish to boot!

Bucher has a 9" shallowraider hitting the shows this winter. Supposedly has a profile like the 5". I just wish it was a depthraider.

The Squirrelly Hell Hounds are on the market. Bass Pro has had them on their website for a few weeks now, and they claim to be in stock.

Very excited about the deep plastic Phantoms. Hopefully they'll have a regular version. Any more info on these, I haven't heard about them before now.

I don't like to throw out estimates on when baits will be in stock when they aren't yet available, as things always seem to change. The only info I have on them is that Phantom is hoping to have them available in the first quarter of 2012.

H2O Tackle will have the new solid plastic HardHead made in the USA. The large one is injection molded and the the other sizes I hand pour. It will have a custom made spring for tail attachment which allows longer life of the tail and more movement to the tail. Also we have been working with Uncle Josh/Kalin and will now have Big-un 10" gold tails for the large size, do not look for them in your normal places as they are not in Kalins 2012 line up.

Drifter Tackle will have the New Squirrelly Hell Hounds available at the shows. These will be available in two sizes. The 9" Squirrelly Hell Hound is the 6" version with a live action tail. The 14" Squirrelly Hell Hound is the 10" version with a tail. The new baits will be available from the retailers in all of the standard colors as well as the NEW Big Flash Series.
We will also be exhibiting this year at four shows: Chicago, Minnesota, Milwaukee, and Monroe MI. We will offer a very limited quantitly of custom patterns in the new Squirrelly Hell Hounds as well as a few other surprises.

I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!  See you at the shows!

I know that Big Game and Custom X will have a bunch of new stuff for Chicago. The new Custom X 8" casting and trolling bait is sweet. Only took a few hrs of use to land a musky on the prototype of it. Think they have somewhere around 20 colors in the Scuba divers for the shows and even should have 6" and 12" Big game cranks in 3 different killer chrome colors. I also know they have some new rods under the Custom X label as well. Roger I'm looking forward to checking out the new Hard Heads for this season. I only have around 40 time for some more

MuskieTrain will also have the new crankbait called rails. 2 diff. baits one for twitching and a deep one for trolling they are a flat sided crank with great action.

New for Spankybaits will be Double 9's and the Super Shocker double 12's with 4 skirts on it for a huge profile. I caught fish up to 53" on them last summer.

Stealth Tackle will have my Quick Strike rigs and he will be selling Live Action Lures out of his booth at the shows this year also, Big Joes and MoJoes. Some new custom colors. And he will have weighted leaders 1/2, 3/4 and 1oz for use on Jerkbaits, Bulldawg's, Medussa's and bucktails

Monster Lures will have Rabbid Squirrel Bucktails and tons of custom colored Squirkos and jerkos

For the guys that are looking to try some thing that is a little different you should stop at the Vibrations Tackle booth at Chicago Milwaukee and Madison. They have put a new twist on the vertical presentation and its worth looking at. They are also great trolling baits! Its different and in a good way!

The new Phantoms will be a great addition to all our boxes and like any Phantom you will need more and more.

I am also looking forward to seeing the Big Game line up this year they keep making it better and better.

You will also want to stop by StCroix and look at how we made the best rod on earth even better!

See you all there!

Crash released his Blue Grass Rods last year and I used them all year and they are fantastic. Make sure you get them at this years shows. That quality is super and the price is right.

You have got to check out the "ECHOTAIL" from Vibrations Tackle. This is an awesome bait that has a lot of unique features as far as presentation goes. I would sugget that you start with about 6-10 of your most liked colors.

Innovative Tackle Solutions will be at all the Musky Shows. Tony and I have the Big Game Tackle, Custom Lures, and Custom X Rods brands. For this years shows we have a full lineup of Big Game Scuba Divers 5", 7.5", and the new 10". Our Custom X lineup has added a new 5" Mini X that compliments the 5" Scuba. It trolls high and fast and doubles as a good early spring bait. We also added an 8" Cast/Troll lure. It has a very wide erratic wobble and casts to 6'. It also trolls nicley over 5mph. Custom X is also releasing a few of its Hybrid lures. These are cool so come check them out. Also Thorne Brothers bought a few in custom colors so look for the Hybrid in their booth as well. All of our lures will have never been seen before custom paint jobs. Once their gone their gone. So come and check them first in Chicago. Lastly, Custom X Rods has been doing extremely well for its first two years on the market. We have kept these rods in house and sell them at shows and direct to you through our website. This helps us keep the costs down where we can get you a high end custom rod at mid level prices. We have added an 8'6" medium heavy casting rod perfect for our twitchbatis and small bucktails. We have also added a new 9' trolling model that is awesome as a board rod and works perfectly with smaller lures. It helps keep the action on these small baits but still has the power to pull in a trophy. Thank you everyone for a great 2011 and we look forward to seeing all of you at the 2012 shows.

Trueglide will not be at Chicago this year due to other work obligations

. I'll be keeping it close to home in 2012 and will be at George's show in MN. I will have three new rubber baits, including a completely new style that has never been seen before. I will also have TONS of custom baits and at least 4 new styles of hard baits. Again this year , I will have my friend Duff with his Supernatural's in my booth as well as Muskie Mercenary guide service.

I'll post pics of baits when we get closer to the show

Happy Holidays!
