Location: Norway | Couldnt find the old thread, so I start a new one, posting some of my creations from the kitchen in 2011. Been working on some new models aswell. A tail glider, that I have had laying around since 2008 or so. It darts up and down, side to side. I also made a bunch of StraponSallys, which wnet to Attitudebaits in sweden. Also Ive delved into the crankbait making, and ran some protos this year, with pretty good results (Offcourse, I lost the big one, probably the biggest pike that have been on the end of my lines...)

Location: Norway | Thanks, both. Solar: is it the carp thing you mean? Ive had it laying around for a couple of years, its actually a crank project gone bad
I have gotten the baitmaking spirit over me, and will hopefully have some new creations.

yep the carp colored one was the one i meant. i know what you mean sometimes you just cant be bothered to do anything, usually the spark to make something again comes very quickly after seeing other guys creations while browsing various blogs and lure making forums |

Location: Norway | Its approx. 7,5" without the tail. Darts everywhere, but on a steady, soft jerk, it works side to side. The sink rate I would guess is around 2 ft per second.

The baits look great ! I like the carp looking one as well
I am sure that Stephen was all over that Tennessee shad color! He' s always trying to steal those colors out of my tackle box when we fish together

I was wondering about the pile of baits I believe their called SoS What kind of action do you get out of them?
Thanks,

Location: Norway | DH.Pare; 1'40" into this video, you can see the action of the StraponSally: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pl-cInf15i4&list=UUyiGfXB9PeLHteLaHE...
I would call it a swimin action. I repainted that prototype in that video, and caught my first, and only 50" pike.
Nowadays I make the tails myself aswell.

I up think it was the 55 incher that convinced him trolling was a good thing. I think that fish is the largest European caught Muskie? At least that is what he told me. Now I just have to convince him that he should pay guide fees
