Location: Madtown, WI | Looks like they are adding size 9 for Mag in 2012, but I was under the impression Lakeland only sells in large quantities (like 100), is this not true? I am only making 10 or so bucktails in various colors. Edit to add: Just emailed them and got this response: You can buy in smaller quantities however there are added charges. Less than 100 pieces we add $1.50 per line item. All orders less than $100.00 there is a $5.00 minimum order fee.

You can buy them in whatever quantity that you want. Most are priced based on a quantity of 1,000 & set a minimum quantity to buy that item at that price. If you order less than the minimum quantity then you have to add a $1 to the total of that item (per line item on the order form). Hagen's does the same thing. Page 242 of the catalog expalins the $1 minimum quantity charge & there's also a line on the order form. Also note that they charge a small order fee of $5 if your order is less than $100.

| We stock the No. 9 Indiana in Standard thickness, Heavy and Fluted. This is becoming a very popular blade. We dropped the No. 9 Lakeland Magnum years ago because so many customers had trouble with the blade spinning. It has a slightly different shape than the rest of Lakelands Magnum blades. Lakelands No. 8 Magnum is smaller than Worths No. 8 and their No. 12 and Worths No. 12 are not quite the same shape. We stock only Worth Magnum blades in 8, 10 and 12 sizes. |

Location: Madtown, WI | Thanks mlure, you've got me worrried about Lakeland's 9's but I'm wondering if they redesigned their 9 Magnum for 2012 since they all say "new" in the catalog?
Anybody have a preference between 9 Indiana and 9 Magnums? I should probably give both a try myself |

| Just got my #9 sample from Lakeland. They are the same size as the #8 we stock from Worth. Lakeland has a #8 which is smaller than the #8 we have. Hope this helps.
