| I have a chance to get this boat for a pretty good deal and I know the history of it and it is in pretty good shape. What are your opinions? I have never owned a Tiller. It has a 1996 90 hp Merc. I will be fishing mainly Vermilion and taking it to Canada a few times a year. If the motor is dependable, I plan on leaving it on there, if not then I'll put a 4 stroke on it.
Thanks for the Imput! |

| I have a buddy with a 94 proV 1800 and it's great for any type of fishing musky included, plenty of room for 3 guys casting and really just tons of space with the wide open layout, It handles big water fine also |

Location: Cottage Grove, Mn | Hi,
I had a '98 Lund 1900 Roach tiller. 100 Mec and an 8hp Yami. It was a great musky boat.
I would definitely get another big tiller.....Maybe a 175 tiller! |

Location: Elgin, IL | I'm very fortunate and happy to have mine Tran. It's a 96 Pro V 1890 LE and I just finished my first season with it. Not a tiller, but I like the open layout alot. Nice safe boat with alot of great features for a 16 year old boat.
I don't think you can go wrong here. Good luck with it.

| I think it will be a great boat. I think with a Vantage on the back, it will be a good Walleye boat too. The fact that it is 16 years old doesn't scare me one bit, they made a great boat back then just like they do now and even tho I would like a new 4 stroke on there, When you spend 90% of your time Muskie fishing, the 4 stroke doesn't matter as much. I would rather save the money and put some good electronics on there and a Terrova. |

Location: Elgin, IL | I agree. I have a 96 Johnson 150 OceanRunner on this that came with it. Not my first choice....but I'm good with it, it runs well, until I can upgrade.
And my electronics need my attention first. Again, good luck with yours if you do it, I was very pleased fishing anything out of this boat this season.

| MJy buddy has a '94 with a 90hp Merc on it-------we call it the "aircraft carrier" cuz the front deck is massive enough to fish two guys comfortably. We fish everything from bass to salmon to muskies out of her and the LUND "eats it all up!" You'll be pleased if yours is in "good shape" like you stated. Good luck----Jobu |

| I fish Vermillion out of a 94 ProV 1775t, no real problems. Very happy with it. Alot of open room for gear and what not. Might want to get some good goggles or a mask for night cruising, bugs and seagulls can hurt at 35mph plus. |

| I owned the prototype which I purchased from Gary. Then I bought a 1996 model and used on the PWT for four years. Still own the 96 boat. Hands down the best all around fishing boat you can get. Yes I have a tiller too. Had to hang a new motor on it three seasons ago. I went with the 90 E-Tec and love it. Sits better in the water then the original merc because it weighs less then the original or the 4 strokes. Have a new Terrova autopilot on it and all I have to do now is cast, cast ,cast. Yup, converted to the big red tails! Great open water boat. Have been in 9 footers on Erie and still felt safe. If the boat isn't to your liking, let me know and I might like one that doesn't have the wear and tear mine does. |

Not me, but one of my buddies, took a seagull to the gut in a 690 tiller. My point was you are pretty exposed to the elements in a tiller. A foot or two up and it may not have been as hilarious as it was. |
