| I broke 6" off my favorite rod(7'6" Loomis blank custom built to my specs by my friend Ryan) this past weekend when the topraider on it hooked on a heavy box in my truck box which pulled it forward breaking it against the truck box. I just finished fishing a lake and was in a hurry. I have a habit of trying to beat the clock when loading up to move. I'd like a good rod holder system for my topper. Does anyone have any suggestions? The ones I've seen in the stores around here don't really impress me.

| Hawg, I put one in the roof of my topper years ago. I used a 2 piece Berkley foam rod holder. I then put velcro straps across the rods to hold them more securley. Worked really well. Have not had a topper in recent years but I would make one of these again if I ever decide to go with a topper again. | |
