Location: Stevens Point, WI | On October 8, 2011 while fishing in a fall trolling event on Mille Lacs Lake Travis Sorokie landed this 57” length x 26” girth muskie.
Travis was trolling for walleyes and the fish hit a Rapala Husky Jerk (Tennessee Shad) in 6ft of water on the East end of Mille Lacs. The line I was using was #10 test Trilene XL (green).
**Note: The information was provided to MuskieFIRST by Mr. Sorokie.

+1 The second pic is an awesome view and shows just how big that fish is.
Looks like a good amount of blood may have come from his left hand.
I've never caught a musky incidentally, but I imagine they inhale those little plugs pretty easily.

Location: Cedarburg, Wisconsin | Absolutely, the picture showing the back is impressive! Too often you see fish repos or mounts that look like tankers from the side but when you see them from the top they darn near disappear, like looking at a piece of paper from the side. That is one special fish! It must have been a super time fighting that on walleye gear. |

| I thought you had to throw a pounder or a two pounder all day up to and beyond the limits of the human body to catch a giant Mille Lacs fish in the fall. LOVE IT!!!!!!!!! |
