Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Muskie season closed today in N WI. Looks like Ice would have ended season on most waters this week anyway. Now it's the long wait for Memorial weekend of 2012.
As winter closes in on the rest of the country, we'll be making sure you have something to do Muskie each week beginning the second Wednesday in January with the MuskieFIRST 2012 Online Seminar Series. Every Wednesday evening at 8 PM Central, we'll be talking live with either n Muskie angler of note or an industry representative. If you miss the chat, OFM will archive the transcript in the article section.
As we begin to plan out the winter seminar schedule, we'd like to get your recommendations. Please list your top three guest speaker choices here, and we will see what we can do to make it happen.

| Eli Singer---loves a good debate and has interviewed dozens of guides, resort owners and musky heads alike (mainly in WI).
Russ Sleight (Dick's son)---claims to have lost a number of muskies that would be world records, and also claims to have seen 100 lbs+. Not saying I believe it, but I want to hear about it.
Rich Clarke---probably don't need an explanation! |

| Tim Simonson (or some other knowledgeable biologist from WI, MN, or Canada) to talk about size increases or other management practices giving us the tools and know how do successfully pursue those things at a grass roots level.

There you have 3 hvy hitters from 3 different areas of musky country. Laz and Sandy you'll never see on the net but Sandy would be by far my first choice. |

| Mike Hulbert, have him talk about Indiana lakes. He puts a lot of Supertankers in his boat. |

| Wow, thanks guys. I've done about 25-30 seminars in the last 2 years, but my wife is due in 2 months with our first so I promised her that this winter I would focus on that alone. Good fishing. Jon Bondy |
