Musky fishing isn't fair

This weeks edition of Outdoor News, which is a publication put out about Minnesota Outdoors has 2 reader shots of a 46 and a 47 inch musky. One was caught on Forest Lake in the Cities while bass fishing and the other was caught on Cannon Lake in Ontario while smallmouth fishing with a surface lure. It just doesn't seem right that theses nice muskies end up in the hands of bass fisherman. By the looks of the pictures neither one of them looks as if they were released. Though one was caught by a 12 year old, so its hard to argue the keeping of that fish. If muskies are so smart why don't they stick to the big lures we musky fishermen throw out there. That way when they get caught they most likely will head back into the water and not on the wall. Oh well I guess I can't complain too much. I caught my first musky of 32" as a teenager while fishing with a jigging a leech fishing for walleyes on Spider Lake in Wisconsin. Musky fisherman spend way to much time on the water not catching anything to be shown up by some bass fisherman.

DTE, the last two il state record musky were caught by non-musky anglers. The current was caught on a jig fishing for walleye and the previous on a bobber and minnow. The next one will be caught on a doughball.[:knockout:]
