| I have an all white bulldawg and was wondering if anyone here has ever tried to paint one to match a specific type of bait fish for the water that they fish. I would like to try it over the winter a little if possible. If it is possible what products do you use to do this. Thanks |

Location: Forest Lake, MN & Bemidji, MN | A sharpie marker works pretty well and it's cheap. It's not permanent but lasts for a respectable amount of time if you give it a nice long time to dry. I have done it to a few plastics. It may depend on if it's the old original dawg plastic, the bad years placstic or the newer stuff as well. Good luck |

| Regular Sharpies work great, the plastic sorta sucks the paint in 
Make sure you hang the lure once painted to let it dry overnight, if you lay it down on something it will give of color. |

| Sharpies do work great for adding a little flair, but one thing to keep in mind is that the ink will bleed over time. Best bet is to use in moderation, get it wet, add more if needed. I've gone overboard before and had everything bleed together and look like butt. |

They make a product called -Worm Chunk Paint, it works much better
than a sharpie |

| Beware of the smell on the Spike-It, it sure doesen't smell nice (atleast the garlic one my buddy had) |

Location: Wausau, WI | +1 Lurecraft soft plastics paint. Spike It works as well. The Spike It I had smelled bad. It will also "eat" the thumpers off your Bulldawg if you try dipping the tail right in the paint bottle. That Lurecraft paint is incredible. When using the Lurecraft Paint, put a base coat of white before you use bright colors like oranges and chartreuse. The white base coat makes them ultra bright. |
