who uses this when fishing for muskies? Does it really indicate something and how should I interpret the change in barometric pressure (increase or decrease in pressure)?

Hey Dirk- Rumor has it that river muskies are less affected by cold fronts than lake muskies. I still can't see the logic, so I still fish anytime I get a chance and try to fish the wind.

Every time I go out fishing, I make certain that I check the barometer to see if there has been a change. I firmly believe that fish become active when there is a change in the barometric pressure (either rising or falling). I have found that the fishing is better when the pressure rises, although any movement seems to drive them crazy!
