Location: Grand Forks ND | Have music playing in the boat 99% of the time. I'm a music nut and wouldn't like fishing as much without it. I'm out there to catch fish, but in reality I'm there to relax and enjoy myself and get away from "real work". |

Location: Racine, Wi | I have music going quite a bit. Depends on who is in the boat and me mood. Sometimes a little Christopher Cross channel on Pandora, othertimes sometimes the Tenacious D channel. When we really need to get the fish going, a little Rage Against the Machine goes a long way. |

| Always..unless the Brewers or the Packers are playing. Musky fishing with Bob Uecker, gotta luv it. |

|
| the LOUDER the BETTER! Big muskies LOVE LOUD music----- it calls 'em right to the boat. PLUS----it has a tendency to deter others from "setting up camp" right next to ya. Loud tunes also send the suckers into a FRENZY---which means more muskies-----jam on!---Jobu |

Location: Hopefully on the water | Somedays we do. Better to have our own music instead of the radio somedays. You get some funny looks drifting along a bunch of people listening to Madona "Like a Virgin" playing on the radio. We turned tha radio off after that for a while that day. |

Sometimes Slamr sings a little.
Probably wouldnt be half as bad if he only learned some other songs.
Listening to:
"We've only just begun to live
White lace and promises
A kiss for luck and we're on our way
We've only begun"
OVER and OVER is more than any man could bear. I really dont know how or particularly WHY he does it.

If there isn't a game on, I'm about 50/50 radio on/off. No doubt some tunes can aid in catch to cast ratio during a long day. Seem to get more fish to go on the 8 when I have a little metal on the box. I think the fish get a bit sloppy when its' a song they like. This week its:
Kyuss
Orange Goblin
Merle Haagard
Mother Hips
Waylon Jennings
The Sword

| I have been rocking alot of Hank III in the boat with some Johnny Horton now and then . |
|
|
|
| absolutely need the music on. for those who don't have a radio mounted in the boat, i recommend a C.Crane EP radio. is small, easy to fit in storage or a place out of the weather, plenty loud, has a line in for an MP3 player and tunes in stations pretty well. been through a lot of cheaper portable radios and this one was worth the few extra bucks. |
