Location: Stones throw away...finally!! | I would like to try some sucker fishing later this week, but with being relatively new to the Minneapolis area, not sure where to get some quality suckers at? I know that Gander has them, but would like to get some a bit larger than the 10-12" that they have...too bad as they are only 2.00/ea. Any help with some SW metro bait shops would be great. Thanks. |

Location: Maple Grove | Not SW Metro but check with Vados and Wayzata Bait. I called last week and they both claimed to have large suckers on hand. I ended up not being able to fish last weekend so I never got in to check them out for myself. Wayzata would be closest for you. If you feel like driving to Vados you can check with Thorne Bros as well. Not much further.

| Check out burnsville shell station. i have got some from them in the past few weeks. real healthy and lively. some are 14+ |
