How do you straighten wire for bucktails when it comes off of a coil?

I just pay the extra $$ & get the straight shafts. I seen a tool out there that's supposed to straighten wire but don't think it works on the thicker (.051 & .062) wire.

I don't worry about wires on new bucktails being perfectly straight since they are going to get bent up anyway when fishing. I just pull the wire straight between my fingers and go throw them.

I just hold it in a vice grip and push the opposite way of the bend with my fingers until it's as straight as I can get it. I don't want a bend in it when I'm using it if possible (like mentioned it will get bent when they get eaten, but you do want to try and straighten it the best you can).
