| I left an original in the face of a nice one when the wire lead on the font of the lure broke. Any ideas where I can get a new one?

You could try the Buy, Sell, Trade board but don't hold your breath, those things are collected these days.
Smitty baits has a nice one that I see at the shows, don't see it on his website, though.
