| With all the flashabou/double 10 craze for the past few years, it's been awhile since I've tied a bucktail with actual deer hair. The other night I dug out some old tails and put a chunk of hair together unlike any I'd made before. The highlight of pink in the blue tail made me think about using a pink blade but I couldn't find any real pink spray paint - just a can of neon salmon I had and that didn't look right. I bought another can - also neon but looked a little pinker until after it dried and then it didn't look right either. Today I visited Reinke Bros in Milwaukee and found the perfect blade for the chunk of hair I tied. Not sure where I'd ever use this new bucktail so I'm planning to put it on the raffle table at the Muskellunge Club of Wisconsin meeting tomorrow night (Wed 10/12). What do you guys think? Perfect matching blade/hair combo, eh?

| As long as I was building, I decided put put together another unusual one - this one made with my son's sort-of redish hair from a pre-school-year haircut. Tonight he told me I was going to stick my first 50"er on it! I sure hope so!
