| Heading to Canada weekend of September 24th and going north of Minneapolis on I-35 and then on over to International Falls. Has anyone recently driven this route? I see there may be some serious road construction and I am on a tight schedule. Any help on delays or alternate routes would be appreciated. Should be traveling that area Saturday afternoon. Thanks in advance. Brandon |

| There is construction but at that time you should not have a long delay. There are three separate spots that added less then a half hour on a peak time of Sunday evening headed south for us. I think you will be fine. Good luck!! |

Location: Elk River, Minnesota | Hi Brandon,
Another route you could take would be to go up 169 to grand rapids, then up 38 to I-falls from there. I would say this would be the most efficient route outside of 35, but as was stated, back-ups going north on a Saturday should not be any real issue.
or...you could take 65 north to Cohasset, then up 46 to northome and 71 to I falls.
65 has a few lights to deal with from I believe Blaine through Bethel, but after that it should not be bad.
