| The Professional Muskie Angler Circuit™ (Pro-MAC™) will be completing the last qualifying tournament for the 2011 season the weekend of September 24th on Lake Mohawksin in Tomahawk. After the Lake Mohawksin Pro-MAC™ qualifier has concluded, the final roster for the Pro-MAC™ Invitational Championship will be set and all the teams starting positions will be announced. The top five finishers from the Pro-MAC™ Lake Mohawksin qualifier will compete for muskie fishing's biggest guaranteed pay-out of $40,000.00 to the first place finishers with a purse of $55,000.00. For the first ten years, Lake Mohawksin has always played a pivotal role in the past for the teams who makes it in to the Invitational Championship, but it could be argued that the Lake Mohawksin qualifier has never played such an important role as it has for this year's 2011 Pro- MAC™ season. Not only will the upcoming Pro-MAC™ Lake Mohawksin event be the last chance for teams to qualify for the 2011 Invitational Championship, but also it will be the last opportunity for teams who are hoping to compete on the circuit next year with a chance of qualifying to compete for the first place prize of $100,000.00 at the 2012 Invitational Championship.
The Pro-MAC™ Lake Mohawksin qualifier is limited to 75, two angler teams. With a full field of participants the Lake Mohawksin event will pay out a purse of $16,800.00 with $10,000.00 going to the first place finishers. As we have done for the ten years prior, the Pro-MAC™ will use Sara Park as our headquarters location prior to the event and during the competition.
If you are interested in fishing the Lake Mohawksin Pro-MAC™ event, there are still some open spots. There is still time to send in your team's entry, or you can sign up for the tourney on Friday night the 23rd at Sara Park, starting at 5:30pm until 7:30pm. Entries can be picked up from Aquatic Arts and Wildlife Taxidermy and Chuck's Sport Shop.
