Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | 116 Teams hit the water on Pelican Lake out of Lakeview Inn this morning under ideal conditions. Seven fish have been registered this morning by 10: 30 including a 48.25 by Jim lane, and a 46.5 by TJ DeVoe. A beautiful 41.75" hybrid was registered by Pat McCabe.
It's dead calm out here, and sunny and warm, yet the fish have been going quite well. It's anyone's game yet!

Chad Hitz put a 39.5" fish in the boat, so that's eight caught. The action has slowed down this afternoon...still not a breath of wind, and it's HOT out here.

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | The 2011 Kevin Worrall Memorial was a success; thanks to Gerrits Lakeview Inn (classy event all the way) and all the volunteers, our sponsors, and of course, all the teams who fished the event. There will be many parents who can be bedside with their child in the ICU at St Joeseph with the comfort of a home away from home as a result of the Team's, sponsor's, and volunteer's generosity. Thanks to Steve at Fiberdome for setting the bar high for donations out of the gate, and congratulations to the teams who put one in the Frabill!
It was hot and still out there for sure, and was hot and still onshore as well. Didn't matter, the entire field of 116 teams stayed on for the raffle and fundraiser after the EXCELLENT dinner prepared for us by Gerrits. I know the heat made everyone thirsty, Fiberdome bought $100 worth of free beer after the awards ceremony and raffle, and it was gone in minutes.
Too many sponsors to thank individually, but Fiberdome/Tuffy Boats, Suick, Frabill, Tackle Industries, Black River Rods, Norm Wild, Tyrant Tackle, and Musky Hunter are folks who stepped up and are regulars here. Please note all the sponsors in the attached image, thanks to them all!

Location: Stevens Point, WI | Another great tournament that was extremely well run once again. Thanks to the Gerritt's for a job well done! I liked having the Friday evening rules meeting but really liked having boats going out in order of groups of 20 as they were registered, a nice incentive for those who signed up early.
My partner and I were lucky to put a fish in the Frabill and finish second, but man it was hot, making the conditions about the most unfriendly as possible for Pelican Lake.
Thanks to all the sponsors for making this happen, I wouldn't miss this tournament for anything.
