| Here is something I found in a book that is quite intersting about a small lake and the weed treatment it recieved and the result:
"The city of Warsaw(indiana) uses this lake(center lake) as a municipal water supply source. The lake has extensive shallow areas, especially in the north, and these have supported dense growth of aquatic vegatation, including eurasion millfoil. This has hampered boat traffic. Treatment with an herbicidal approved for water supply lakes has reduced the growth of millfoil and allowed native plant species to re-establish themselves. Secchi disc readings since treatment have more than doubled."
WHAT? Are we missing something here?
