Had a good weekend fishing with friends for the little I was able to get out, I was happy with the results. Put a good one in the boat with my buddies boys...we made the decision it was too windy and rough out to let one of them reel it in so that was kind of a bummer....but we will get em next time.
Also put a good friend on his first 50"+ of the year.

I ended up with 4 for the weekend. The little guys were going crazy in Chippewa county before the cold front rolled in on Saturday. Contacted 5 of them in the 1 1/2 hours before the front blew on. Caught 2, both 35.5. Also lost one at the net that was maybe 37 (hook got caught in the net - oops!). Lost 2 others right after being hooked, caught a 32 inch northern, and had another hit all in the time before the front came in. The action was about 1/2 and 1/2 on a Cowgirl and ripping a 12" Big Game (so much for big bait big fish).
Sunday we fished about 5 hours and blanked.
I came back up to the Hayward area and fished a couple hours on Monday and caught 2 in the 8 on cowgirls - a 43 and 32.
Fish were generally found around weedlines. Here's a few pictures:

I edited some of the video, my 46 was out of the water longer than i wanted, but was still only 45 secs. When i layed it on the bump board her gill plate cut into my hand and i couldn't pull it out myself. Took a few extra seconds, but since she was so green and literally didn't fight and we didn't need to pull hooks out of her the extra few secs didn't seem to bother her.
As you can see she swam off after about 30 secs or so

hardcore, it should be perfect for you using out on st. clair with the clearer water, and all the monsters that lurk in there. You should be able to get some great footage
