Does anyone have any experience or opinions on the Musky Mayhem Double Showgirl? Do these little sisters have the same fish appeal as the Double Cowgirl? Have any big fish been caught on them? Numbers?

In 2 weeks on LOTW this year there was a night and day difference in my boat when throing a showgirl versus the same colored Cowgirl ( showgirl won out), can't really explain it but the numbers don't lie for this season. And yes, big fish were eating it as well...

Of course they have fish appeal! I have had the same experience as MuskyBrian, but on Eagle lake. The fish will prefer double 8 baits a lot more than the double 10s at certain times. Usually this is earlier in the year for us, but it has happened all year round at one point or another. Just give them some time in the water and let the fish tell you what they want.

You cannot burn a DBL 10 like you can the Showgirl. When they want speed the Showgirl wins.

Who cant??? The trinidads pull 46" per crank with either bait

They will work, but if you catch 10 on a showgirl, and 10 on the cowgirl, I can just about gaurentee the average, and biggest will be larger on the 10s..(assuming they're on the same lake)

I use them in spring, when ererything is hatching and they trend towards smaller baits.

Is that a challenge?

My personal experience is that the double showgirl is much much better on the gin clear troutwater lakes, I"m guessing because of the speed factor for clear water. Fish wouldn't even look at the 8's or 10's. Trout water is all about speed IMHO, and that's why the showgirls do so well.

Well, I got me a Showgirl and took her down to the legendary Pittsburgh Pool of the Allegheny River to test her out. She doesn't spin as readily as her big sister, the Cowgirl, but I figure I need to work with her a bit before I get the hang of her. I'm hopeful.
