OK,

What have you guys had the most success on this year?
What bait has produced the most for you?

By far....and it's not even close, the high producing lure for Tom and I has been the Pink Bulldawg. Everyone knows that Webster muskies like the dawg, but you have to throw 'em something they've never seen before because those fish are super-conditioned. Pink is the color.

Oneida Esox (John Stuffle...sorry if I mis-spelled it John) always says pink was a good color, so I got some pink dawgs and they are unstoppable. I have gone through about 10 pink dawgs this year already. They don't last long!!!

Early on, the 8" Shaker in an Irridescent Blue Perch...things have been slow for me for the last few months, but seems to be switching back to a slow glider bite: the walleye cobbs moved a bunch, and the slowly rolling dawg moved a big one or 2 last weekend. Then the Big Jake popped a 40"....so who knows?

My #1 numbers bait,Widowmaker's T-Bone. For size, the Dawgs. Got a 50"er Thursday on a white one.Lost a mid fourties fish, had another big girl take a swipe at it. Gotta love em. Never saw a pink one. I got one made with that new blue glow color.

half of mine this year have come on a green frog Mister Twister Teddie all wood jerkbait. That lure is awesome. Last year I boated 1 muskie and a decent mid-30inch pike on the same lure.

I have five that caught fish when nothing else did:
- a 6" swim whizz (chewed up beyond recognition)
- a 8" reef hawg I got from muskyone
- a supershadrap in metallic perch (average size of pike I catch on it is 70-80cm)
- a black/gold spinnerbait I made from a moore's lures spinnerbait blank
- a crankbait made by a Finnish friend of mine called Janne Ovaska

best bait overall is a tie so far: the spinnerbait and reef hawg

Tr Twitchers and my Zalt(which is part pink by the way, I call it the gay patriot). Probably seen 75 fish just on these two alone. Caught most of my fish casting with them.

For trolling it has been my superspecial depth raider.

Doc,

Ancient Chinese secret!!!!!![]

If I tell you, then I would have to "KILL" you!!!!!! []

Just kidding!

I would have to say that for trolling it would be a Shad rap, and for casting, anyone that knows me knows it's a Mag Dawg in Pearl or white!!!!![;)]

Looks like a toss up so far top two being the Jerko and the TopRaider. Something tells me that with the fall season upon us the Jerko will come out on top.

Other than the Reef Hawg that accounted for somewhere around 30-35 fish this year, the Lelure Surf Stir and the Topraider are at the top of the list(surf stir for my biggest fish and topraider for overall summer productivity three years running).

The pacemaker was really good to me at night in July(excellent bait worked very slowwwwww) and the jerko was hot in June in Vilas this year.

The jointed depthraider hooked my two biggest WI fish this year, and was my trip saver in Canada trolling in the heat during the first couple days of my trip.

My partner Don Kempen slimed my net with a few hawgs this summer with the Hellraiser Bear Paw, and it has been one of my two go three bucktails along with the bootail and Harrasser.

Early in the season it was a red/black Raddog spinnerbait.

September on.....it has been a smacker colored Undertaker.

Last year my go-to bait when nothing else was working was my Muskie Treats by a large margin (shameless plug). After that it was a toss-up between a jackpot, jerko, and phantom.

I had two good baits for me this year
1 Big Joe (Live Action) 11 fish in the month of August for me. 20 in my boat.

2 Depth Raider (Night Shiner + Sucker)
Two 49" in the boat 1 on Eagle and 1 on North Twin at 1:00 A.M.

This year, the hottest bait in my boat had been a Tuffshad, with a lil ernie trailing closely behind. Most been caught trolling, also caught a few on lokes and wileys. While casting, burts and mantas have taken some nice fish also. []

The 10" Jake has been hot for me this fall. It has put 15 in the boat for me since the middle of October. Prior to that I didn't really have any one hot bait. But the Top Raider was responsible for some big fish.
