As an avid muskie fisherman but short on luck, I wanted to make this season one of my best. And I can confidently say it was. Sure I might have missed three figure eight fish, but I still set a PB for biggest fish and most in a season. So, last Wednesday, my last muskie trip before I left for college, me and two buddies decided to try to get me a going way 'ski....on topwater. Well, we succeeded and I had an amazing experience for my first ever fish on topwater. Wow, what a thrill. Sure, it's only a 39" fish, but he came completely airborne after he ate that topraider. The three of us in a 10' Jon boat got a kick out of it.

Muskie fishing three deep in a 10' Jon Boat......that is a great accomplishment itself. Congrats on the season and topwater fish.

Haha yes it was quite interesting.....actually dangerous too. Thank you for all the good luck wishes guys, good luck in your future seasons as well. There are a couple good muskie spots down here that I'll be looking at.

Nice fish, I have yet to catch a muskie on topwater

Is that medical tape on both arms?

Yes it is, I had a terrible case of poison ivy on both arms.

Topwater fish are awesome, I highly recommend catching one

This is what musky fishing is about not second guessing everyone's photos.
