Same thing different gear ratio. I really don't think it is a matter of better or best. It is what setup you are using it for.

Toro is a 5.4 ratio, while the winch is 4.5:1 or so.

I would mostly use it for jerkbait, topwater, crankbaits and bucktails and what power handle do u think is the best?

the Revo and not the revo winch. the winch is great for large blades but that's about it for me. Too slow for jerkbaits IMO.

Like was said the Winch is too slow for most of what you lures you have posted. As for the power handle, I'm not sure what you are referring to. Both handles that come with the reel have the same throw (meaning the handle grip is the same distance from the main shaft) it all depends on what you like.

I'd go with a 5.4 for all-around use. Bought one myself this year with that in mind. Planned on using my 7000 for 10's. After a few days on LOTW, ended up using the 5.4 for those too. Left hand started cramping up too much with the 7000 AND hard pulling 10's. After maybe half a day, got used to the extra pull. Low profile design really made a differenc. Guess if I were looking for a dedicated reel for 10's, I'd go Winch. Still might myself. But for spot duty, the 5.4 worked fine, for me anyway. Tom

Bought two Tackle Industries rods this year. One telescoping 9' and one 8' removeable handle. Both XH. Nice rods. Liked the 9' for 10's a little more than the 8'. Both worked. A little more control during figure eights with the longer rod. Otherwise liked the 8' better for most other baits. If I was buying only one rod, it would probably be an 8'. Tom

Started out with a 7000 on the 9' TI XH for double 10's. Revo Toro on the 8' TI XH for everything else. My left hand started cramping up after a couple days due to palming the big 7000 while reeling in the big blades. Switched to to the Revo Toro/8' rod. Low profile design REALLY made a big difference, even though it reeled in slightly harder. Next day put the Revo on the 9' rod. Nine foot rod made figure eights a little easier due to length and seemed like the rod didn't load up quite as much as the 8'. Again, both rods worked for double 10's. Would have been happy using the 8' the rest of the week too. Bought the 9' for big blades, which it works great for. Ended up using that combo for everything the rest of the week. Like the 8' for jerkbaits and WTD topwaters, and slightly better for cranks. I can also cast a little more accurately with the 8'. Haven't thrown too much big plastics yet with either rod, but there the edge might go to the 9'. Hard to go wrong with either length, but for me, I'd go 8' for an all around rod. Can always add a 9' rod later too. Tom
