Location: St.Cloud | Only fished leech a couple of times, but my buddy donny and I went out this weekend and caught 3 nice fish (48, 48.5, & 41). My buddy congregated up a bait and it works. His 48 came off a weed break alls I hear is theres one get the net. As I'm franticly reeling in and grabbing the net I hear him stumbling around and I look back here he is sitting on the edge of the boat almost in the water. I was about to grab his rod and throw him a floatation devise it was close.
My fish came off rock reefs, we were fishing and donny's kid logan was telling him to look up at the stars. As he was he wasn't paying attention on the final turn of his figure 8 and (WHOOSH) fish missing his bait. About 2 or 3 casts later in the same area i was finishing my figure 8 and never seen it coming but she exploded on the bait. I set the hooks in the 48.5 and she bee lined to the back of the boat made a wicked spiral jump, thought she hit donny while he was finishing his 8 good thing she didn't. I brought her around the front of the boat started to bring her in the net thought she was in with a sigh of relief then she jumped out of the net and I thought we lost her luckily she still had hooks and we boated her. The 41 was an easy one set the hook and slid into the net, not much excitement but its a fish exciting enough. All on all 3 fish boated and 4 hits all fish successfully released a great two days. Location: St.Cloud | Leave it to my partner to say somthing smart. My boat my gas but don't worry i'll still let you fish with me besides how else would you put fish in the boat. LOL.
