I'm getting fed up with this editing policy they have on muskiecentral. I used to visit there often but I hate it that there is more bashing and anon guys than anything else. What happened to the fishing????

I think they are way out of line. There are these anon guys bashing muskiefirst as being a homo club. I reply (no namecalling, no rude language, nothing like that) logged in as a member to defend muskiefirst and what do I see?? My reply is pulled, I can't login anymore: permission denied. What the heck is going on? If this doesn't change, I'm sticking to muskiefirst and muskyhunter. That's it! 'nough said! []

read the post yourselves: http://www.walleyecentral.com/dcf/DCForumID7/2577.html

maybe I should put this under "post removal" to save sworrall some time![]

How come no one bothers to send me an email before they come over here and bash Muskie Central? This is the second post like this I have had do deal with today at Muskie First. Could I just ask out of common courtesy that you either post something on our board, or if you can't get on, then send myself or one of the other moderators an email. I am a very reasonable guy and would be happy to check out anyone's concern.
I just went to MC and checked the thread Divani, and your reply is still there. The only thing that was deleted in the thread was the "homo" reference. I also have a post up asking for patience as we have been having server troubles and are in the process of switching tonight. If you still have trouble getting on after tomorrow Divani, please drop me a line and I will track down the problem.

I really think we should limit our internet board chat to one board site.

I used to post on 2-3 boards in hopes of a better answer. Not true!!
MF always has helped me and I will always be loyal here.

Lot of info being shared and we are the best musky hunters on the planet!

Jim, first off I have to apologize. [:blackeye:] I reacted too much on impulse. I have been visiting MC for a while now and the bashing only got worse. Mostly by anon guys. I feel that's irritating because it drives pro's away from the boards. It has been dealt with too many times before so I won't bring it up again.

I never meant to say you're a lousy moderator because you're not. But I found it weird that I was denied access to reply and that my reply wasn't there while it was this morning. It still isn't visible by the way so I will check it again tomorrow. I can read posts but not reply to them or post new threads. I also couldn't email you because that didn't work either. It says "access denied, reason: permission denied. Please contact administrator" but that didn't work. That's why I posted it here. Maybe someone knew more about this. I thought your server problems were solved.

Once again, my apologies.

I tought I was the only one having problems with the Central. I haven't had problems with any of the moderators. I just can't seem to get the final page to get the message board to come up. So I thought MC was down. Scott Golden has been waiting for an email reply from me and the one I sent him keeps coming back to me. He got one through to me but even my repies to his keep coming back. I do know he got hit with virus a little while back. I get virus almost daily but Nortin takes car of it and I delete with out reading it.

All that I can add is that I like it here at M1st and that I don't go to MC very often. I guess I won't go there at all anymore if they can't control the folks any better than what I am hearing. As for us being a bunch of Homos...........I may be an old fart, but I would like to see one of the annons call me that when they were in my boat with me. Nuff said.

Dang it Worm Drowner! I bought the same outfit. By the way, I look better in that dress than you. Slut.[]

Jim is a nice guy. I have met him myself. Very approachable.

Nathan...I've said all along the movie Deliverance was filmed "up there" using local talent; 2 of the above posts only serve to solidify my theory! Evidently what started out as a silly thing to do has become a way of life for these 2!![;)] [:0] [:sun:]

Divani,

Apology accepted and definitely no hard feelings on my end. I went to the thread yesterday and your reply and my edit were there. I went today and neither were there. Scott told me to expect some weird stuff during the server switch and I'm sure that is what's happening. The original question in the thread had been answered long ago, so I got rid of the whole thing today. Hopefully that solves the problem and it won't reincarnate itself. [:)]

Todd- Thank you very much for your kind words. They mean more than you will ever know.

Jim McCullough

ps- As I always say when this comes up, please drop me an email if you see an anonymous attack. I can't be on the site 24/7 and sincerely appreciate the help. I at least made one person angry by deleting their anonymous attack, as the first reply after mine in that thread was ripping me for deleting too much stuff. Oh well, sometimes you feel like you just can't win. [;)]

Larry,

We were posting at the same time, so I didn't see your post. I assure you that you have NOT been banned on Muskie Central. I would be the only one who would do that, and I most definitely have not. I too have an email out to Scott asking him to check into it. He works a full time job and gets between 100-200 emails a day. I apologize that you haven't heard back from him. With the server switch, I know he is putting all of his free time into getting the site up and running again. I hate to sound like a broken record, but he told me to expect some weird stuff during the change. I am sure that your trouble is related to that. Please give it a few days and try again. In the mean time, I will send another email to Scott and see if he thinks anything else could be causing this. I apologize for the inconvenience Larry.

Sponge,

I fear that it is out in cyber space. The funny thing is, the post I put up about posts possibly disappearing during the switch, it disappeared! I can't wait until this is over...

Larry,

I got an email back from Scott and he asked if I would relay the message to you. He said that the "Access Denied" was a normal message that was sent out while the server was down and that it was not anything directed personally at you. Again, I apologize for any confusion this caused.

Scott also said that the switch is now complete and everything should be working properly. One thing he did say, is that if anyone is having problems still, they should clear the cache in their browser and that should take care of the problem. Thanks for your patience guys!
