Subject: Tournament Trail Question

I am looking to fish in some tournaments next year and I was wondering what everyone would suggest. I can't afford to fish the PMTT as of right now but in a few years that is where I want to be, but I want to get my feet wet in one of the less expensive tournamet trails out there. What are your suggestions?

Thank you

A less expensive option is the Illinois Muskie Tournament Trail- and if you are itching to start the year early come join us the 2nd week of March on Lake Kinkaid!

Another great option besides a "Trail", is to fish club and charity tourneys. These are often more affordable and totally a blast. I recommend both the Fox River Valley(last week of April), Shawnee(1st week of May), and Hoosier (2nd week of May)

just google Shawnee Muskie, etc. to find out a little more on your own. The IMTT will have their 2012 schedule up by early January on illmuskie.com but you can count on the Kinkiad event in mid March. Hope it helps!

Good luck
