Location: Madison, WI | Hi guys,
Looking for fishing information on Cliff Lake, Ontario. Will be heading up to the Perrault Falls area in 8 days and would like some information on the musky and lake trout fishing. I have fished Cedar before, but want to try something new (and less pressured). Been hearing mixed reports about Cliff. Some say it's a numbers lake for muskies, but not a lot of size to them. I find this hard to believe, since it's a trout lake. So any input or a recent report from those who have actually fished muskies there would be much appreciated.
Also looking for information on the trout fishing in Cliff as well. Planning to troll flutter spoon on dowriggers for the trout as well.
Thanks in advance for any information!

Location: Minnesota Metro | I have not personally fished Cliff but know people who have. They say the same thing and call Cliff the numbers lake and Cedar the trophy lake. I know it's backwards but it's what they swear by. If I remember right they had their best luck up in the northwest arm and down in the southwest section. Sorry I can't be more help than that, hopefully some others chime in. |

| I have fished both and find them very similar in terms of success. Our group has caught 50+ inch fish from both Cedar and Cliff. We are up there in June and I would say in the last couple years, Cliff has been more "reliable". We've raised more fish in classic spots there.
Good Luck! |

| I have fished on cliff quite a bit. Definitely a numbers lake with some giants in the mix.
Had my best luck on a 10 inch jake, black and silver. Make sure you hit the mid lake humps. There are only a couple of them. Saw some pigs and caught some nice 40-45 class. good luck
