Subject: Trinidad 14 Clutch


i have an issue with my clutch sticking shut. Or shall I say The clutch has troubles opening. It will open freely about 50% of the time. The other 50% i have to really force it open. Reel repair cleaned and opened it and said the parts are all good and where they are suppose to be. Reel has yet to be used an entire season and the retrieve is as smooth as what it was when I purchased it. the clutch has given me issues since I purchased. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Location: Latitude 41.3016 Longitude 88.6160		Call Shimano and tell them. I would think U have a bad cam bushing or clutch cam or weak clutch spring. If Shimano can't fix it they will replace it. Call 1-877 577-0600 and ask for Dan Thorburn he will take care of U.
