| Where exactly in Northwest Indiana?
I'm "assuming" you fish the Webster Lake area from time to time?
I had my boat's current custom snap cover made there in North Webster at that custom canvas shop there on SR-13...on the East side of the road. Wasn't cheap. No custom covers are cheap. But well worth the money! You get what you pay for. My cover is now 6 years old and still going strong. Though my boat, when not on a fishing trip and when not in the water, is stored indoors 100% of the time, over the years, my boat, with this specific custom cover on it, has unfortunately been caught in some unfortunate weather in the late Fall/early Winter periods, where it's sustained some substantial snow accumulation on top of it (ie, lots of weight on the cover) and it never faltered. I travel up and down the highways consistently with my boat covered and it's a great trailering cover.
Once this cover lives it's lifespan, I won't even think twice about going back to the same shop again for a new one. They know their stuff, have great quality materials and craftsmanship and they're fast. You'd have to leave your boat with them for a period of time however. I think I left the Webster Lake area one weekend, left my boat with them, the cover and boat was ready to be picked up again that following weekend when we came back up to the lake.

| Have them put the snaps under the rail too when you get it installed or if you do it yourself. That way line doesnt get hung up on it, etc. Im really happy with mine, but mine was made in MN. | |

| I had my cover for my boat done at Webster Custom Canvas too, just like Mack. HOWEVER, they told me I could trailer with the cover on---and that was pretty far from the truth. My cover was almost $700.00 and the first time I trailered it for a long distance, several if the snap straps tore out----and the cover began to shred from the rear forward, wherby causing the wratchet strap to knot up----break--- and cause over $1000.00 damage to my 90 hp Merc four stroke. When I asked them about replacing the cover--they told me it was 2 yrs old and they would be GLAD to do another one----of course------for ANOTHER $700.00 So, you might want to find another cover shop than WCC----they don't really stand by their craftsmanship, in my honest opinion. Good luck, Jobu | |

Location: Brainerd, MN 56401 | Come to MN for the best cover on the planet. Custom Upholstery and Awning Center. Just north of Brainerd on Hwy. 371. Then you can fish Leech and
Mille Lacs the same week.

| Dave, the guy you may be looking for in Iowa is Custom Covers by Wesinger in Dunkerton Ia. just outside Waterloo 319-234-5416. He made my cover about 7 years ago and it has worked out very well. I go to Canada once a year and Northern MN once or twice a year so it has lots of miles on it. I have had some minor work done on the seams and snaps the last couple years but all in all the cover is still in very good shape. I keep it on the boat all year cause it sits outside. | |

| Thanks Pepper..
that may in fact be the one. The boat i bought a few years ago was sold in that area, so i imagine it could be where it was made..
How much was your cover? Was it a snap on as well?
thanks
