Just curious if anyone can recommend me a Vilas County Musky Guide that can accommodate 3 clients, we are experienced and can cast overhand. We will be there during the last week of August. Thank you.

Check with Mark Rottier---265-7194. Great stick and knows the big lakes over there very well.

I gotta second the recommendation for Mark Rottier. 906 367 2099. He really knows Vilas Lakes and UP Lakes. He catches a ton of big fish every year. Not only will he put you on fish, he will set you up for future sucess. Plus, he has a really nice Ranger to fish out of.

www.badwaterbaits.com is his website.

I second Pete Stoltman. Great guide and the nicest guy you'll ever meet.

Of the guys I know I would look into Rob Manthei (robmanthei.com) or Mark Lijewski (715.614.8981). Both guys are on top of their game, you won't be disappointed.

It looks like several good names mentioned. I have fished with Rob Manthei, he is well dialed in to the area. He can locate muskies along with other species as well. Good luck. - Jim Furley, a.k.a. campfire

Thanks again for all of the responses! We went ahead with Mark Rottier and I am glad we did. We learned a lot from him and he wasn't shy about sharing his knowledge. He was very generous with his time as well and the Cabbage Ghost and Woodies were very nice baits. Thanks!
