My motor seems like its bogging down after trolling for a while. Its a 4 stroke 2002. It almost seems like there are weeds stuck on the prop but there is nothing there. Changed all the fluids this year and put a new fuel filter in it. Anyone have any clue with the horrible description I just gave?!?!

Thanks!

Oh and all the dealers in town are too busy or too dumb to talk to me and answer these questions of mine and I'm not about to bring it to those guys to fix if they are gonna act like that to a customer.

I believe that motor is fuel injected yes?

Have you replaced the spark plugs? Might as well start with something easy, and good preventative maintenance. In most cases, when a spark plug goes, it starts to misfire which can cause multiple things, bogging being one of them..

If anything, pull the plugs and see what they look like. if they are dark and sooty, you have an environment where it is not burning cleanly: i.e bad spark plug or somehow running rich.

I would say start with new plugs anyway since you have done the filter and fluids. The only other thing I would think you could try is to get a can of the pressurized sea foam and find an intake that would allow you to do a deep cleaning of the cylinder chamber, and clean out all the carbon build up.(do this before you change plugs) Again, something to try, but usually most 4 stroke engines don't need that kind of cleaning, given all other things are up to spec.
