I was wondering if anyone has ever fished big boy for Muskie
I know boy river flows from leech lake so there naturally in boy
Im just wondering if anyone has any advice or experience fishing it
We are heading up to the cabin for a long weekend I plan to fish leech
as well but I hear there are some monsters in big boy
So any advice would be much appreciated .

There's fish on there for sure. Your not going to see numbers of fish, the population of them is not that high. With a low density of fish I'm sure there are some big ones to be caught.

I've caught some big slabs in there before. Never tried musky fishing there. Lots of wild rice, which means big pan fish.

My in-laws have a cabin on Boy/ Swift. I've fished it for 6-7 yrs, late summer/fall is better. Not alot of fish but they are there. Know of some 50+ fish caught. If you do try it fish the point and weeds off the old girl scout camp or the mouth of the Boy river. good luck

Thanks moras6 ya my place is basicly straight across the lake from
the olg girls scout camp and acually 4th of july weekend a young kid said he had a couple follows of that point next time your out there if you get a chance stop into timber trails resort and look at the fishing picture board they have some monsters
im talking 50+ and some other nice class fish I just wish I could find these things out there because the fish in boy are huge in over 20 years I have seen 1 guy muskie fishng the pressure is very low. If your ever up there and want to do some muskie fishing give me a call 612-309-8417
