| I will be heading back up to the Eagle River Chain for the first time in almost ten years. This time it will no longer be just my brother and I going musky fishing. Between the two of us we have five kids between the ages of 1 and 7. We are staying on Cranberry and will most likely be fishing Cranberry, Catfish, Voyager, Eagle, & Scattering Rice. My brother and I are hoping to musky fish in the evenings after the kids go to bed, maybe 7 pm to 11 pm or so. We used to catch a fair number of 32 to 40 inch fish years ago. Is it still a numbers system? What are the current conditions like? Also, the small mouth bass fishing was getting better and better the last time we where there. Is it still pretty good? If so, are there any live bait techniques that we could use to make it easier for the kids to catch some fish.
Feel free to PM me if you like.
Thanks in advance.
