The fish ate a Beast in about 17 feet of water on a deep weed finger. Alex and I were fishing side by side in the front of my boat, he was casting a Dawg and I a Beast. I set the hook and handed the rod over for him to fight the fish, so this was not totally a solo effort. It was a great experience to share with my son and one I will never forget. The best part is all he's asking to do now is go hucking, my wife thinks I've brain washed the little guy. I love it!!! |
