Might try Fox in SW MN in the next week or two for the first time. Any tackle shops in the area? Does this lake get green in the summer? How bad is the recreational boat traffic? Where to stay overnight? Thanks.

Lake gets really green! No kidding your visibility will probably be about one inch, if that. Very shallow as well, i don't know how they servive the water temps there in the summer, especially this one.

Weed growth also tops out and makes fishing verry tough. Guessing water temps in the mid 80's at least since mine on a deep clear lake an hour away from there is 81-83.

Please avoid this lake until the water temps cool. It is very shallow and dark which only adds to the water temps.

I would be more than willing to share advice once water temps have dropped back into the 70's and lower.

That is probably a real good idea not to fish it if it is so shallow. I will maybe try it later in the summer or fall. For sure want to hit it next spring.
