Looking for some general info on this subject. They all seem to have their speed they work best at over the weed tops. Weight and blade size and type make that difference. What hook preference do you have? Single or treble trailer? Maribou, rubber, or hair? Grub trailer? What works for you?[:)]

Hey Todd, I don't know anything about trolling spinnerbaits, but read Richard's article in the article section. It will give you all of the basics.

Todd,
We have been having some fun this year trolling Rad Dogs, in both the single blade (Indiana I beleive?) as well as the tandem model. Trolling slow from 2mph to faster at 4mph where you can almost get the blade to break water. The big pike and bass dig em, but no skies yet this year on them!

I have boated 10 this year trolling Hawg Spins and a couple of locally produced spinner baits that are larger and heavier. Speed ranged from 5 to 6 mph. Distance from the boat depended on the individual lure. I let out line until it would just stay in the water at speed. All of the muskies hit the front single hook and were hooked well. A rear single hook really reduces the build up of weeds. Hope this helps.
