Has anyone had any problems with the levelwinds on the Saltist 20's or 30's ?
I have not heard of any problems with the levelwinds and tonight on my 20 the levelwind crapped out on me. The reel was new last summer and did not have a ton of use yet.
I will take a look at it tomorrow.

Thanks

Steve

p.s suggestions on places to get it repaired in the north metro?

Wayzata Bait..... They do good work,. also have them put a new "Heavy Duty" spring in the release button, mine works great now after that spring upgrade.

Mine completely locked up this last weekend. Can't even turn the handle. Probably has less than 200 casts on it.
my buddy also has blown up a couple in the past 2 seasons

Not impressed with these reels so far...
