Location: Antioch, IL | You guys have been cranking out some amazing work lately and it got me fired up again. I have a pile of blanks left to finish but here are a few I finished up. May actually treat myself to an airbrush this week and do away with the rattle cans.

| Wow. If you're doing that with rattle cans you promise to be an Artiste Extraordinaire with a Paasche.
I love the bone fish, LOL. That's awesome! |

| Question: Does it matter if the plastic tails are pointed up or down? More action one way or the other? |

Location: Antioch, IL | Thanks Guys,
Yeah, I'm still working with rattle cans. I just can't pull the trigger on a compressor and air brush purchase yet.
With the tail up the baits tend to rise just a little on the pull and tail down has the opposite drag effect and they tend to nose down on the pull (tail up will foul up in the back hook less, although the way I position the hooks they stay clear either way). Baits/tails this size the movement is not very noticable either way. On a bait like the large hardheads tail up vs tail down can make a noticable difference in the action. (Actually Roger at H2O was the one who gave me the low down on tails up vs. tails down when I picked up a hardhead from him at the Chicago Show. That man knows his stuff, Thanks again Roger) |

| Thanks for passing that information along. Your baits are very professional looking. With a airbrush you would be one of the best painters around! |

Location: Antioch, IL | Thanks Freak,
Here are a few winter blanks that I have put paint on. These are officially the last rattle can paint jobs I'm doing. Finally got all of the airbrush equipment, now just need to hook it up and then the fun part of figuring out how the hell to use it. I'm sure I will be looking to this forum often for inspiration and guidance. Lots of amazing artists on here that have really been putting out some impressive lures. I have my work cut out for me.
Thanks,
F&W
