I'm not aware of anything out there that is in production that is longer than 9'. I could be wrong but I think the only way to go longer than 9 is to get a custom built.

Location: Smith Creek | One piece, Slammer. I'm not aware of any either. Even if a custom builder can build one over 9' it still wouldn't be 1 piece. |

LOL, okay, you got me there. If you want to get all technical, it wouldn't be 'one piece'. To make it a longer rod, you'd have to add an extension which would be an additional piece.
However, it would be a one piece rod in the sense that he is asking about- it's not telescoping, the handle doesn't come apart, and it's what everyone would consider a one-piece rod.

Location: Minnesota: where it's tough to be a sportsfan! | at one time Muskie Innovations had an 11' rod out. Not sure if they still do or not. Cons, over 9' they can get to be a pain when not in use. Pro's longer rod, however will not work for all techniques. |

Location: Smith Creek | There used to be quite a few 1 piece (surf) blanks over 9' up until about 05-06 then the shipping companies started charging so much it pretty much eliminated that niche in the market. I doubt they'll be back but who knows? People like em and want em, but for the cost of shipping alone you could buy a decent 9' rod. |

Location: Land of the Musky | 9' rod from MN to PA cost about $20 with FedEx and a 10' rod from MN to PA cost about $70 with the oversized charge. Thats with now shipping discounts. |
