Location: oswego, il | I had the unfortunate experience of watching my Frabill big game musky net sink and go bye bye last weekend. I could not find a musky net anywhere to finish out the weekend but I did find a place that had a Frabill net that was made for catfishing. I actually really like it. It has the old style round handle, the only thing I would really change on it. It has the big kahuna hoop though. I am not a fan of scooping fish with the big kahuna but this one has a different bag. It is not quite as deep and has an open knotless mesh and fits a musky just fine. It scoops pretty easy and with the big kahuna hoop makes it alot easier than even the big game I had. Pretty cheap too, less than 80 bucks. |

Location: Stevens Point, WI | Frabill also has two new musky nets they are officially releasing at ICAST even though they are available now. The Power Stow Net and the Conservation Series net #9530 that can be handled with one hand when your fishing alone. I've been using the Conservation Series 32" x 41" and I must say, the maneuverability with the net is amazing compared to my heavier Power Catch net. The price point is $119 so a good mid-range price with all the Frabill benefits.

Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | I'm also using the #9530 and really like it. Light, easy to handle with one hand. Only a few fish in it this year so far, no issues yet, a nice net for sure. |

sorry to hear about the net. fill the handle on the next one and that wont happen again.. as for the catfish net, i woukd think it would work but make sure that it has a coated net, most frabill's are but there are some older ones out there that are not coated..bill |

Location: oswego, il | Bill, this one has a thinner coated knotless bag. It has a wide mesh compared to the standard musy bag. I really like how it scoops. I am going to foam this one and get a spare. |

Location: syracuse indiana | just a helpfull hint take the push plug thing on the handle and take it out, then plug up one end the fill it up from the other end. after it sets just take a knife and dig uot up past the push in bracket and clean it up and putit back in.. the most foam you can get into that handle the better. it will float after that, i have had 3 frabills and have not lost one yet and believe me ive had it fall in the lake from me and clients |
